Hay guise~ Realized it had been a few months since my last journal update so I decided to post a new one.
I'm hoping to finish up some new drawings very soon--tl;dr I finally figured out the pen tool. Sad, I know, but my excuse is that PSP has a pretty different way of doing it than PhotoShop. It's a little more difficult to figure out but I finally got the hang of it, so I'll be inking all my pictures that way. Quick question, though--for whenever I finish pictures of random characters or characters with noncanon outfits, anyone interested in coloring them?
Which leads me to the fact that I actually need a new sketchbook. FOR SHAME, KATSU. Ran out and I didn't even realize it because I've been sketching on school handouts for so long...I think I'll get a new one and just transfer the sketches into it.
Overall, I feel really bad because most of my active watchers now are cosplayers and photographers...and while I do really, really love cosplay, I'd also like to get better at drawing and it's been tough to do that. I'd really like fresh art to outnumber the cosplay photos in my gallery, but it's been far from doing that. But I'm hoping that now that the main holdup is gone (inking by tablet = ugh!) that I can put out more art. That is, if anyone's left that's interested.
Also, people have tons of home remedies for coughs and stuff...anyone have a good one for post-nasal drip? I fucking hate allergies but I can't do anything about it because allergy medication makes me drowsy and I have to do a lot of driving to and from school.

Ewww, I have the flu. D; Headaches and upset stomach and the chills. Sucks because I have so much to do before school starts (next week!) but I have to take it easy or I'll still be sick by next Monday. But you'll be happy to know what's on the to-do list...

But the problem with going through my deviations is that I have over 700 now, all backed up all the way to January. So I'll be deleting anything from before June, most likely without commenting. Sucks, but if you want me to comment on your RECENT works (and that's what's important, right?) then this is how it has to be done.
Also, a full review of Anime Expo with complete details on hotel, staff, cosplays, and convention will be going onto my Livejournal this week. I hope to start today with a review of the hotel.

So it has come to my attention that I have over 600 deviations in my inbox. This, this is a problem. In order to reduce it so that I may comment much more often in the future, I will be doing mass deletion. I will be commenting on at least 3 deviations by each user and then deleting the rest. Yes, I'll look at them, but I can't afford to leave a thoughtful comment on even the majority.
Also, almost 25,000 pageviews? Fabulous! *commence glitter rainbow* I really need to draw more.
And I will be doing a full report on Anime Expo, including links to friends' galleries, people I met, and ratings on convention, accomodations, etc. No, I won't be rating my roommates, lol. The last cosplay event I ought to have this year should be the gathering in August.
Also I am addicted to MapleStory. FOR SHAME.

Leaving tomorrow at 4:00 A.M. with the adorable ~Dantris-Driffen, who will be passed out on my couch until then. Rooming with the lovely ~uzura and her roommate from Fanime, who will be rooming at a cut rate in exchange for permitting my usual sexual harassment. We'll be there through Sunday. Hey guys. Captain Lazybutt of the S.S. Asshole here. I really want to finish ZM Samus in time for AX, but I just don't feel any motivation. The juice needs to get flowing, and fast. (That's ZERO MISSION Samus, her orange ending outfit, NOT the Zero Suit.) I know I can finish it in a week, but I just...I'm completely and utterly "blah" now. So, motivate me?
The sooner I get this done, the sooner I go through my 500 deviations. ;D
